Distribution: In Washington occurring in the Olympic and North Cascade Mountains; Alaska south to Oregon, east to the Rocky Mountains in the U.S. and to Manitoba in Canada.

Habitat: Riparian areas in the alpine and subalpine.

Conservation Status: Sensitive in Washington (WANHP)
